- Setting-Up R
- Starting R; Working Directories; Workspaces
- The Basics of R: Operators; Functions; Data Frames; Data I/O; Plots
- Ratio Studies in R: Important Functions and Methods
- Modeling in R: Model-Building; Model Output; Model Application
Each section will begin with a powerpoint presentation on R material followed by a time of hands-on learning. The hands-on portion of the workshop willrevolve around analyzing a sample data file. Students will be given example R scripts to run with the sample data file. Students will also be given exercises to do at the end of each section.
