We are happy to welcome guests from the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) who just happen to be meeting in Savannah this week. PRIA is the leading resource for the property records industry and, as such, develops and promotes standards, best practices and white papers to enhance operational functions for its members (Recorders of Deeds and their business partners). 

This panel will discuss the responsibilities of the recorder’s office and how it impacts GIS and assessors. We'll integration possibilities between land records and GIS departments and the potential benefits to the broader community. We will also discuss future collaboration opportunities between the county recorder’s office, GIS department and the assessor’s office.
